The cycle count list

A printable count sheet. Generate it before a count, take it to the stockroom, and enter the results afterwards.

Select Cycle Count List in the toolbar above the inventory list. Partix generates a PDF.

What it contains

The parts from your current view, with the figures Partix holds, laid out to be written on. It carries your company name and the date, so a sheet found later can be placed.

Because it follows the current view, the filters decide what you count. Filter to a category and you get a count sheet for that category rather than for everything.

How it fits the count

  1. Filter the inventory list to what you intend to count.
  2. Generate the cycle count list and print it.
  3. Count the physical stock, writing on the sheet.
  4. Back at a machine, enter the results with Cycle Count on each part.

Count blind where you can

A sheet showing the expected figure invites people to confirm it rather than count it. If your process allows, count first and compare after. The sheet is still useful for knowing what to count and where to look.

Counting little and often

Cycle counting is meant to be routine rather than an annual shutdown. Filtering by category and working through a slice at a time keeps the record honest without ever stopping the stockroom.

High value parts and fast moving parts are worth counting more often than the rest.
